From [livejournal.com profile] azephirin:

Comment with a fandom and two characters, and any prompt you'd like to give. I'll tell you about a time when they kissed. (No LOTR unless it involves at least one hobbit OC and/or interspecies; otherwise, any pairing and fandom I've ever written is fair game.)

(I borrowed the caveat and switched in an appropriate fandom.)
browngirl: (Minoan Lady)
From [livejournal.com profile] sophinisba: Comment with the name of a female character and I'll tell you why I love her. In return, you can do the same in your journal.

And from [livejournal.com profile] kayliemalinza: Name a character and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my own personal pseudocanon. I think 'pseudocanon' = fanon for the purposes of this exercise.

You can do one character for each, but please specify which meme so I don't tell you what my fanon is when you want canon or vice versa.
browngirl: (Kink Meme Redshirt (asimaiyat))
Oh, it is being such a Monday over here. Please help distract me with this meme, which I snagged from [livejournal.com profile] magickalmolly:

1.) Comment with any character you know I've written.
2.) Receive three bits of trivia about their sexuality: practices, preferences, experiences, fantasies, kinks, etc.
3.) Profit!

(Right now I'd settle for nonprofit...)

Requested by my dear [livejournal.com profile] katarik. "Twist In the Tail", DC Comics, Deathstroke/Nightwing (Slade Wilson/Dick Grayson), NC-17. Read more... )

Title: Forests of the Night
Fandom: DC Comics
Rating: As it is: N/A As it would have been: R
Pairing: Slade/Dick, Rose, Roy Harper, Batfamily
Notes: For [livejournal.com profile] katarik, of course.

So, I decided to do another round of Works-In-Progress Amnesty, aka Spring Fiction File Cleaning of stories I'm likely to ever finish. Here goes!

Forests of the Night )
bonus story idea, from Slade's POV )

So, on the other side of the Sun, [livejournal.com profile] petronelle decided to play Never Have I Ever Written, and the results were awesome. Today is my birthday and I have no fic written for it, but I thought this game might be a nice way to mark the day.

The Rules: Read more... )

Let me start with: Never have I ever written Connor Hawke in a sexual situation, despite being very fond of the character.
browngirl: (Kick Your ASS (amberlynne))
So I'm so excited to post something this month, when I thought I wouldn't, that here I go posting on a Sunday. *laughs at myself*

From an idea given me by [livejournal.com profile] petronelle some while ago.

Title: The Lady and the Tiger
Fandom: DC Comics, Batfamily / Deathstroke
Threesome: Batgirl/Deathstroke/Robin I (Babs/Dick/Slade)
Word Count: 250
Rating/Warnings: PG-13 or so.

The most beautiful sound Dick's heard all week. )
browngirl: (Boing! (becs1234))
Title: Blazon
Fandom: DC Comics
Pairing: Dick Grayson/Slade Wilson
Rating: hard R
Summary: Then Slade pauses, puffs a breath over Dick's wet skin, and starts to laugh.
Disclaimer: No versions of these characters belong to me, nor does their fictional universe.
Beta Reader of Benificence: [livejournal.com profile] solvent90
Dedicated To: [livejournal.com profile] petronelle (this is, somewhat, a sequel to her "That ink may character") and [livejournal.com profile] katarik because everything I write about Slade is for her.

Not to mention Slade pressing every inch of his back, gently twisting his arms behind him. )
browngirl: (City on the Water (jemppu))
[livejournal.com profile] deconcentrate wrote a story, "And a Million Deaths to Die", which started an avalanche in my head. This is the result: it's a sequel/answer to that story, so that one should be read first.

Title: Alone to Tell Thee
Fandom: DC Comics AU
Characters: Barbara Gordon, Birds of Prey; Jason Todd
Rating: PG or so?
Summary: But not erased.
Disclaimer: These characters aren't mine, nor is their universe.

Barbara Gordon sits at a kitchen table in a basement apartment, typing on a small personal computer.  )
browngirl: (Minoan lady (baranduin))
I've done this meme before, but it's fun, so why not do it again?

If you make up titles for stories I didn't write, I will respond with details of those non-written stories. Just think of the possibilities! (If you'd like to include details you'd like, pairings or fandom or something, you can do that too.)
browngirl: (RobinPile (jemppu))
Ganked from [livejournal.com profile] sister_wolf

Give me one of my own stories, and a timestamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll write you at least a hundred words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future.

My stories are all listed in my Memories, and my comics stories are organized with tags. (Despite the userpic, tho, any story is eligible, even my oldest LOTR ones.)

Like [livejournal.com profile] sister_wolf, I'm setting a cap on replies: mine is 6. I'll do more after that if my fingers and wits hold out.

Posted for my Unofficial WIP Amnesty Week
Title: Beneath the Banner of the Bat
Fandom: DC Comics
Rating: As it is: PG-13 As it was intended to be: R
Pairing/s: Assorted Batfamily slash, het, and femslash.
Notes: This completely crack-addled Fantasy Elseworld, which began with the image of Bruce Wayne in a Kilt (I think the link is in the notes somewhere) and as an excuse to use the line, "have this one washed and brought to my quarters", would have been written for the [livejournal.com profile] dc_flashfiction Lord King Badfic Challenge, but I wrote three whole stories for that challenge. Also, as may be seen in the second IM conversation, I had too much shame to write down what the plot was leading me towards.

The iron gates of Gotham before him, his army victorious and weary behind, Wayne the Bruce at last attained the city of his birthright )

So, you saw my track; now here's Petra's!
(And then I promise to stop being a spam machine today.)

As Dick wishes desperately for Slade to shut up )
browngirl: (Default)
So, [livejournal.com profile] katarik, whose gloriously infectious squee fuelled the writing of this story, has requested its DVDing. Who am I to argue?

Dick bound and on his knees. What's not to like? )
browngirl: (City on the Water (jemppu))
Title: But For The Grace: Five Things Which Fortunately Never Happened To Dick Grayson
Fandom: DC Comics
Rating: PG-13
Summary: As the title says, five things which didn't happen to Dick. Thank goodness.
Pairings: Babs/Dick, Dick/Slade. Dick/Tim. Potentially others.
Warnings/Features: AU. slash, het, character death. Spoilers through Nightwing 117 and for Robin: Year One, in AU sorts of ways.
All Thanks To: [livejournal.com profile] __marcelo, for beta reading and comma control.
Disclaimer: These characters belong to DC Comics, not to me.
Author's Note: Because Hallowe'en is also All Souls Night, IIRC.

OK, so it starts with [livejournal.com profile] katarik, because she made a Slade/Dick motivational poster for me, with text from the quotation I used to title a story.

So, I was looking for something nice to show her in return (where nice=dirty, gorgeous, and wrong) and I found this picture, which made fangirls' eyes pop. People said, "o, there oughta be a fic!" and so [livejournal.com profile] petronelle wrote the awesome "Mao" (Slade/Dick, kisses and verbal fencing; Kory/Dick mentioned).

She began a sequel, which she graciously let me finish, and it became, "In Flagrante Delicto" (Slade/Dick, naked chess and other sports; a little Kory/Dick at the end), for which I'll be replying to comments as soon as I can. *waves to patient, kind people*

[livejournal.com profile] mildredmilton, while beta-reading that story, noted that there was more story to tell. And now she's set out to tell it. "A Shift of Understanding" (Slade/Dick, revelations and fingering; also and importantly Kory/Dick). And as she said in her notes, "And thanks to [livejournal.com profile] katarik, for being such a whole-hearted Nightwing/Deathstroke fangirl."

A trilogy, written by three authors, because of discussions and squee amidst several fans and inspired by a particular fan. I love fandom, and I'm delighted to be part of this.

*squee*
browngirl: (City on the Water (jemppu))
I think this is the first time I co-wrote something. Anyway.

Title: In Flagrante Delicto
Fandom: DC Comics
Authors: [livejournal.com profile] petronelle and [livejournal.com profile] rubynye
Rating: NC-17
Summary: And if Slade had been quiet, Dick wouldn't be playing chess in the nude now.
Pairing: Deathstroke/ Robin I (Slade/Dick), other pairings mentioned
Warnings/Features: Very dubious consent. Slash and het mentioned.
Sequel To: [livejournal.com profile] petronelle's "Mao"
[ETA: Prequel to [livejournal.com profile] mildredmilton's "A Shift In Understanding"]
Based On: This picture, general New Teen Titans milieu.
Beta Reader: [livejournal.com profile] mildredmilton, hitting it out of the park on her first swing.
Dedicated to: [livejournal.com profile] katarik, because. :D
Disclaimer: These characters belong to DC Comics, not to us.

Five hours left. )
browngirl: (Me sorta)
So, [livejournal.com profile] katarik made this absolutely wonderful motivational poster for me. Please note that the image in it is canon, from an actual comic book cover.

I was wondering how to repay her. I now have the answer.

Below the cut is an image, drawn by a professional artist, which I nicked from here. I included that both to show my source and to note the comments. Hunter and Hunted )

ETA: [livejournal.com profile] petronelle wrote 'Mao' based on this. O, how I love this fandom!
browngirl: (Don't Come Cheap (Doubledgedtruth))
This is just a little bonbon for [livejournal.com profile] katarik, who'll know why, and with love and acknowledgements to [livejournal.com profile] maelithil because I recently reread "Crow in the Corn".

Fandom: DC Comics
Pairing: Slade/Dick, set between Nightwing 113 and 115 sometime. Refers to Outsiders 21 as well.
Rating/Warnings: R at most. Some kink.
Disclaimer: These characters aren't mine.

Dick is exhausted. )
