I'm still thinking my way into Uhura, but it strikes me that she must definetely be sapiosexual. Even Kirk managed to win a smile from her when he showed he understood what she was studying.

I think Gaila is the only woman she slept with (while I prod away the specter of LUG... just about everything about sex is more fraught with unfortunate cultural implications when it comes to women, or so it seems sometimes, which I've seen given as a reason to write slash, but I digress).

I have a thing for curly-haired, big-eyed Kinsey 3's, and my Pavel is another one of those. He's played around with more boys than girls because boys are easier, but he's not unfond of breasts.

That said, he was, technically (quite technically) a virgin when he and Hikaru became lovers. (Bonus: amidst Pavel's mathematical papers and physics texts, there's an innocuously titled file that's really a 23rd-century purity test. It's steadily being filled in and is occasionally referred to.)

My Don, while appreciating all the varied pulchritudes of the female form (and the male, too), really likes asses.

Despite everything ("everything" being Charlie) managed to lose his virginity while in high school (at sixteen). I don't have the young lady's name but I know they dated for three months.

First dared to act on his attraction to another guy, not just away from home at college, and not even just a full year into college, but away from college at a party where no one knew him. He brought his circumspection to the FBI, not the other way around. :)

Just for that:

Slade has a thing for competent young people. Nubile, of course, and old enough to know themselves, but that's a matter of mind, not time.

It's a good thing he's so big, because he really likes distinctly smaller partners. Of course, pretty much everyone is distinctly smaller than he is.

When he's with someone who doesn't have something to prove by taking it rough, he can be surprisingly gentle.

The Mathematician...

... is considered by its own people to be eccentric and brilliant, which is why the Primarch allows it to do as it pleases. Also, they are clutch-mates and share 75% of their parentage.

...first discovered its 'thing' for humanoids about 75 standard years ago, when it was about 70 centimeters wide and one curious girl from a species with bright yellow skin and four antennae picked it up. Intrigued by the muffled thoughts it felt through her hands, it touched four tentacletips to her four antennae and they conversed through the night until her people came back for her.

...first got the idea for more tactile exploration about ten years later, when another group of explorers (these were green-skinned) didn't realize the planet had sentient life, set up camp and divided up into pairs and threesomes to copulate before sleep. Hidden in the nearby brook, the Mathematician watched them tangle with each other and seemingly share thoughts and emotions, and decided that it really, really wanted to do that too. The Mathematician spent most of that time learning new symbological systems and sulking.

Amita really likes eyes. Soulful, eloquent eyes.

Halfway through her freshman year of college, with the world seemingly so much expanded from what she'd seen in her parents' house, she accepted a date with a young man named Tyrone, and they stayed together for the rest of the school year. They didn't ever exactly say "I love you" to each other, but if you asked her about her first love she'd think of him.

She's perhaps a Kinsey 1 or 1.5, but every so often she sees a woman she wants, usually one with a swinging walk and a dangerous attitude. (Any relevance this may have to the Amita/Nikki I wrote and the Amita/Liz I'm working on is left as an exercise for the reader.)

Hello, glorious green girl!

Gaila was fifteen when an older girl found her crying in a hidden corner of the complex and told her, "they buy and sell your surface, they touch your surface, but you own your inside. You own your mind and your body and your spirit." A year later that girl stole a disruptor from a 'guest' and when her escape attempt was thwarted she shot herself with it. Gaila remembered her words and didn't cry. Instead, she started thinking. A year and a half later she was on Earth.

Gaila can almost always tell a virgin, and/or someone who hasn't had sex with a woman before; she feels incredibly honored every time she has sex with someone inexperienced, and tries her best to make sure their first time is as good as possible.

As far as Gaila can see, what humans call 'falling in love' is, at best, about braiding two (occasionally more) lives into something mutually supporting and headed in the same direction. Which is beautiful -- watching her roommate Uhura slowly come to love Commander Spock was awe-inspiring, for instance. But she doesn't need anyone's life to support her trajectory, now that she's flying free.

N.B. Whenever I write Gaila (three times so far) I put "Defying Gravity" somewhere in the mini-mix I assemble for that day's writing soundtrack. I decided three times makes it a tradition.

Cass and/or Steph?

In all my time writing Cass I have never known where she innately lay on the Kinsey scale, or even if that is a meaningful designation for her. I know she's Steph-sexual.

However, Steph wasn't the first girl Cass slept with. She met this gigantic tattooed redheaded woman once with whom she sparred as conversation and flirtation, and fell into bed with laughing in every inch of her body. Grace understood her silence, fed her for two days, and bought her another outfit before seeing her on her way.

Cass would've slept with Kon if he'd asked, but also understood that he was working out how to be her friend without necessarily sleeping with her, so she never asked.

WONDERFULLY predictable! I haven't written any yet, but I totally believe in Pike/Number One. I kind of have two tracks for Pike/Jim, one being "Blue Eyes Shine" where that's the first time he and Jim have sex and the times they do can be counted on one hand, and the other being where, starting two months into Jim's second year, about one in five advisor meetings devolved nakedly. I'm not sure yet which I believe in more. This last gets kind of long. There are people who are bisexual and are strongly attracted to very gendered presentations (I think my Charlie Eppes is like that), and then there are people who are bisexual in part because what attracts them are primarily not-specifically-gendered features. My Pike is the latter. I was going to say more, but I wrote the first half of this paragraph ten minutes ago and the latter kind of vanished into the ether. *posts before I'm interrupted again*

Hi, Jim, hi!

My Jim Kirk is at least 90% Reboot because, well, I am unfond of Shatner and Chris Pine somehow charmed me to no end. So.

1) Jim is moderately masochistic; he can absolutely get off with no pain involved, but he does enjoy it when it is involved.

2) In my headcanon, The Infamous Frank [is Jim's uncle not stepfather and] verbally and physically abused the boys but not sexually. Someone else, under the guise of befriending Jim, molested him. Then there was the Car Into Quarry incident and between that and George running away for a bit, both of which exposed all sorts of messy secrets, Winona decided to take her sons to that colony on Tarsus IV.

3) One of the reasons Jim likes being pegged is that in his second threesome as the guy was fucking him the girl leaned her breasts over his face and the combination of tits and being fucked is what precisely made him come [the first time].
