Happy All Saints' Day to all who celebrate it!

This entry is short and messy because I am typing directly into the comment box during about 150 spare seconds between tasks. So.

Since I'm blessed with a talented photographer for a roommate, there will be a picture of my Magnificent Hat later, with my head in it.

Some NWS pictures now, of delightfully rude pumpkins:

And last but not least: Having gotten very few trick or treaters, what on earth will we do with the leftover candy? (NO, NOT 'EAT IT'.)

That? Is MAGNIFICENT.

Some of the comments were depressing, though.

*laugh* But candy has too many ingredients; too many variables to account for.

Food bank? Office break room?

From: [identity profile] browngirl.livejournal.com
Alas, neither is a viable option; food banks want real food, not candy, and about half my coworkers have children and/or live near children, so the candy dishes all over school are already full to overflowing.

...what on earth will we do with the leftover candy?

That's what office-mates are for, aren't they? And it does seem that we get fewer and fewer little ones coming to our door these days, doesn't it?

My officemates have already filled the school with candy, though. It's a little ridiculous. *laugh*

I wonder if people are trick or treating less these days. Certainly, no one will take anything not pre=packaged, it's a little depressing.

For the leftover candy: (make and) fill pinatas and give them to young kids having birthdays or other celebrations.

EEE! I think I will do this! *bounces excitedly*

Would you be allowed to have a candy bowl in the reception area?

I'vew got one, thank goodness. But the kids are, surprisingly, not eating it that fast. They must be glutted.

Doesn't she have a gorgeous smile? My photography teacher commented on it a few years ago when I took advantage of BU's tuition reimbursement program and my nearest local model. :)

In my house, leftover Halloween candy was used to decorate gingerbread houses.

If I started making a gingerbread house... o, the trouble I'd be in. *laugh* I'd soon have the Gingerbread City.

I took our leftover candy into work to sweeten up my co-workers. Unfortunately, several of them had the same idea.

Must.Not.Eat.Anymore.Candy.

Sigh.
