Laptop User Question

So, I'm playing with my iBook (G4), and I decide to burn a mix. I insert a blank CD, and iTunes stops responding. I force it to quit and reopen it, and it claims to not be able to find its cd burning files. I download iTunes from Apple, install it, restart, and try again, with the same result. Also, the CD is not showing up on the desktop, and I can't eject it.

So, what if anything can I do now, to avoid an expensive trip to the Galleria?

I don't have a pinhole by my drive. *but*, I went forth and Googled, and it turns out that pressing the mouse button while restarting forced the drive to vomit forth the cd, which fixed the problem.

So your good wishes helped anyway. :D
