I gave cookies to the taxi company in my town and to the mailmen where I work.
In part that was because I mailed all 200(!) of my Winter Holiday Cards from work.
I talked to my favorite of those mailmen, B. I should write a journal entry about him sometime. He's a great big rough-hewn teddybear of a guy, and the biggest thing about him is his heart.
bercilakslady came over to babysit Joshlet and see the rest of us, and gave me delicious fruitcake. Yay!
WD got his car, which is beautiful. I will be able to report more about soon. (By the time I got home and took off my bra and pants and boots, I was too low-energy to get dressed again.) Yay!
Because he had to arrange to get the car on Monday, our usual date night, WD brought me "guilt chocolate", which was quite unnecessary but is very much appreciate. Mmmm, chocolate.
I contemplated writing a journal entry about fanfic, filk, and the originality-creativity axis, based around Sagan(?)'s aphorism "to make an apple pie from scratch one must first create the universe"
A power outage saved everyone from my maunderings.
Due to the power outage I went to bed at 8:30 PM.
There's other stuff, but I should get to work.

I have a little bit of an excuse, at least: my most current address book got dropped in a puddle this fall (by me, of course), and any addresses I'd been so unwise as to inscribe in felt-tip ran away. Waaaaah!
