I like hearing them, as I said.

But sitting next to a woman speaking to herself in Parseltongue the entire (excessively, delay-riddden) train ride in to work today was just DISTURBING.

(Yeah, she probably wasn't actually. But she whispered to herself continually, and the effect was sibilant and creepy.)

That does sound creepy.

Of course, "silent" (actually, mouthed but not voiced) prayer in Hebrew sounds an awful lot like Parseltongue, too. Don't tell anyone, they might accuse Rowling of being anti-Semitic. :p
