I would like to kill something now, please.

And it may just be the next person who climbs out of a nice warm car to tell me "good morning!" and look disapprovingly at my disheveled damp hair.

Walking on rain-covered ice all the way down the hill.
Missing not one but two buses.
Having a bus driver shut the door ON MY FOOT.
Finding the music on my work computer inoperable (it turned out that someone turned off the speakers, god knows why)
Being hungry.
Being here till five.

I'm going to have to watch myself carefully today. I REALLY feel like getting into a flamewar right now. And I just can't wait to see who tells me I have no right to feel this way because I knew it snows here/ if I don't like public transit I should buy a car/ jobslegslifeetc are a privilege/ something else that boils down to that I have no right to be in a bad mood.

I can't *wait*.

Sounds like this is just a lousy morning all around. Many sympathies.

Would they deliver pizza to you in school? I don't suppose anyone delivers before 11, which is still two and a half hours, but might they then?

It's odd that people don't deliver croissants.

Sorry about your horrible morning.

If you think it would help to flame me for something, I can try to make a stupid remark....

Pending your response, I will offer you gentle warm thoughts and wishes for your day to improve and for everyone to be nice to you.

You have every right to be in a bad mood, but feel free to do me virtual damage if it helps. I'm feeling fairly sturdy at the moment... and understand full well the everything-is-going-wrong crankiness.

If anyone says you should be driving, you could ask them what kind of car they plan to give you, or just point out that car payments don't grow on trees.

I own a car and wouldn't take it to work where Ayesha works. Parking's too expensive and hard to find.

And whether they plan to pay the $75/month it costs to park at our workplace.

Oh joy. I hope your morning gets better! I can't believe the stupidity/rudeness of some people (my particular ire at the moment is directed at the bus driver who closed the door on you).

Does anybody deliver food where you are?

Particularly considering a homeless man recently died because the bus driver closed the door on him, this should not be tolerated.

Ayesha, here's the MBTA's complaint form about bus service. Be sure to provide the time and route, and let off some of your steam to somebody who can make a difference in that aspect. [The last time I complained to the T -- about a commuter rail -- they sent me two free passes and an apology.]

Yes - ow, ow, ow!

And I'm sure there are places that would deliver to there - it's a great idea. (Not coming to work without lunch also is a great idea ... but I don't manage it, either.)

I'm really sorry that my sinuses elected to not let me go to work today. :( I would come in if I could, so that at least you wouldn't have the extra-long day.

Jobs, transport, life and legs are a privilege. You're *still* entitled to feel pissed off when life shits on you.

Besides, I am somewhat anti-car and admire people who take public transport or walk. A lot of the time, cars are just easier - not necessary.

Thanks for the Christmas card, darlin'. It's lovely and Rob and I like it very much :) *hugs*

I REALLY feel like getting into a flamewar right now.

So go read the Existential Flame War and see if it doesn't cheer you up at least a little.

*hugs* I'm sorry life is so fuxx0red today.

I do own a car, and I don't drive it to school, cause city driving scares the Hell out of me, and Denver in nothing compared to Boston.

And I'm here to tell you, ice is nothing to be taken lightly...

Hope your day got better.
