In reverse exponent-of-exponential order of importance: North Korea has a missile capable of carrying a nuclear bomb to the US. I'm watching distressing events in one overlapping set of my friends. I haven't drawn any Valentine's Day cards, and have no money to buy them.

But, my nonstick pan, the one WD gave me for my birthday, is doing a beautiful job of browning potatoes, and that makes me happy.

The only sensible comment I could think of applies to pretty much everything. Cherish your friends, lovers, and family, for who knows what tomorrow brings.
