I do not think I am cut out for running conventions. I'm really far, far too high strung and can't quite manage to ration my energy well enough to not crash till after things are done.

I had a good time for much of the convention, I really did. I am in awe of how amazing several people I'm fortunate to know are, not least, certainly absolutely not least, the incomparable telynor, who is one kickass Featured Filker. I'm also really worn out right now.

You made very pleasant breakfast company; it was nice to get to know you better in a less manic-in-passing way than our past meetings.

I think everything went well. The only complaint from the filkers was about lack of water. This was the same complaint we had from the panelists and attendees. In fact, the hotel’s ability to keep up with the water service is a problem every year. We should probably just have it pre-printed on our end of con list for the hotel.

The art show went well too. In spite of the fact that they had your display crowed in a corner, you still sold some pieces (I know the other one I was thinking about getting was already sold). All of your business cards were gone too, so someone was interested enough to take them.

There are always complications and problems. The point is, you dealt with them and everyone had fun.
