A Thousand Batgirls

So, having a little time, I finally went through the Batgirl Meme. After deletions of image and journal and excepting locked posts, I think that was about 950 Batgirls.



Tall, short, skinny, pinuppy, fat, blonde, brunette, Cass, Babs, Black ones with Afros, little girl ones, human-bat morphs, adorable ones, pornographic ones, badly drawn ones, deeply artistic ones. Batgirls in zippers and buttons and snaps and leather, ones in dresses and leotards and fishnets and armor and stompy kickass boots. Batgirls who looked like Steph, like Misfit, like no Batgirl ever, like real-life women. Many, many Batgirls who wore less clothing than the canon Batgirls, which is amusing in laugh or get mad sort of way.

Then there were the batarangs with hair-bows, the actual bats, and the baseball bats with bat-wings, breasts, lipsticked lips, or some combination thereof. o_O

And Composite Batgirl, whom I just had to link to.

All these Batgirls have addled me. Our houseguests remember the days when I used to [try to] draw, and think I should draw again, and batfan_sarah challenged writers to draw and vice versa. I'm tempted to draw Batgirl. Probably the one from The Batman because I like her wee hippy figure and her look. Her, and a Supergirl (maybe the black-haired one), a Steph!Robin, and maybe one more heroine if I can think of one. Or, maybe not, if I come to my senses.

My friend phoq did my favorite. It was the aviator batgirl that I am far too lazy to find the link for, if you haven't seen it I will scrounge for it. (I was also fond of rimwalker's batboobies)

If you haven't done it yet, the picture you were going to draw with The!Batgirl, Cir-El, and Steph!Robin; for the fourth heroine, might I suggest Power Girl or Mary Marvel? If only for the awesome one-shoulder capes they have.
