I think I may just explode. I shrieked so loudly the baby stared at me like I'd lost my mind, which I had. Not that I should read this. Even though the stories I've read so far are really quite good. Still, I should not read this. Really.

To make up for it, a DCU fic rec and a multifandom art rec:

mildredmilton wrote "The Talk", because when one has teenage sidekicks one must take care of their sex education, mustn't one? petronelle reviewed this story better than I can, but I'll just say that this story needed to be written and that if it hasn't been recced by the time I'm reccing for crack_van I'm going to rec it.

hyel, who draws in many fandoms including Bujold, Pratchett, and LOTR (and writes well, too), has started the community absurdconcept for her fanworks. (Earlier stuff can be found on hyelandia, which is well worth going through). If you recieved a beautiiful Winter Holiday card from me this last year, she drew it.

I already knew about it. I go there now and again but don't follow it regularly. I liked Reality's Liberal Bias Makes Steward And Colbert Have Sex, especially the title.

*hurriedly changes the subject* I'm making vegetable/lentil/barley soup now, and stewing apples. I'm going to have the apples over pancakes, and portion out the soup for the week ahead. Have you been cooking anything nice lately?

I have recently discovered tds_rps and I have to say YUMMIE!
