Fic Challenges I Would Pose

browngirlI wish I were set up for fic challenges. With a webpage to post them to and prizes to offer and such.
Because if I were... I would propose a hobbitfic F/S challenge based on this song, which in emotion and imagery is *so* perfect for Sam. (The winter mantle on your shoulder, fashioned of the finest wool/ Free of shame or shyness twines you, soft and yielding, warm and full/ .Did I dare to so embrace you, wind would not dislodge my hold/ It's your warmth would make me tremble, not the bitter winter cold.) For a long time I was going to write a F/S based on it, but I never did. But someone should.
And if I were... I would propose that Batverse Steph!Ficathon. Maybe in the LSU (the Live Steph Universe. In the Horatio Hornblower fandom there's a concept called the Live Kennedy Universe, where a plucky gorgeous beloved blonde sidekick who died untimely gets to keep on living. You see the obvious paralells here. ) Maybe not. Maybe all canon and AUs and whatnots. But darnit, there should be a Steph!Ficathon. Do we know when her birthday was?
Besides, if I were, I might not be so damn bored this fine Friday morning.
