I've been in a doodle some mood lately. Here are a couple of WIPs.

I feel like this one isn't finished but I can't decide what more to add. Coloring in her dress will obliterate the delicate shimmer of her body.

This one is based on a song by [livejournal.com profile] catsittingstill and I finally started coloring it in. I need to color in the details of the siblings, and decide how much of the sky I'm going to crop away. I like the current vastness but it rather dwarfs the people.

Next attempt at a planet-note. I may have to slightly flatten the planet, but at least I got in the tilt.

I love your art so much--I love how fluidly and gracefully your people move, and I love their expressions, always, always.

For the first one, it might be fun to give her wings and make her an angel?

That rakish tilt really improves it!

"Coloring in her dress will obliterate the delicate shimmer of her body. "

If you use a light color for the dress and color *around* and inside her body outline, the dark outline of her body would still show through?

Oh, by the way - please keep showing us your art. [g]

I use Paintbrush, with help from Colorsync Utiltity and Preview. And, amusingly, I just figured out a way to use these programs to eliminate the flashing (which I don't usually like but sometimes use in my compositions) so less of it should show up from now on!

pixlr.com does a lot of the same things the gimp does and it's a web app :)
