The problem with homemade candy

Is finding people to give it to, especially in January when everyone's on their New Year's Resolutions diets.

I have made a bunch of candy recently and want to make some more (I have ideas, about hawthorn berries, about cookies encased in chocolate, about caramel, and more generally about creating stuff), and then give it away so it's not sitting around the house beguiling the two of my roommates who are cutting back on sugar. If you'd like some feel free to PM me (I'll probably make a bunch of packages to mail in late January) and meanwhile I'd love ideas on people to give it to. (Feel free to nominate recipients if you know they can have it!)

These are gifts for some friends of mine, so I'm not going to see them directly.

Counter-proposal: I send you $20, plus $14 for the postage, and you send what you think would be $10 worth to each of my two friends?

(Oh, and if you make any other bonbons I'd be interested to know of them. Blueberry's not my jam.)

Oh, I thought it was the blueberry teaberry ones you lied. Do you remember what the label said? I want to send you, and your friends, more of the one you liked. :D

Okay, I can see how I've made this needlessly confusing.

1. You sent me Blueberry teaberry bonbons, with some other stuff.

2. Not being a blueberry fan, I gave them to a friend (Mary Jo).

3. Mary Jo reported that they were superb.

4. On the strength of Mary Jo's recommendation, I'd like to give some to two of my other friends (Johanna and Julia).

Does that clear it up?
