The problem with homemade candy

Is finding people to give it to, especially in January when everyone's on their New Year's Resolutions diets.

I have made a bunch of candy recently and want to make some more (I have ideas, about hawthorn berries, about cookies encased in chocolate, about caramel, and more generally about creating stuff), and then give it away so it's not sitting around the house beguiling the two of my roommates who are cutting back on sugar. If you'd like some feel free to PM me (I'll probably make a bunch of packages to mail in late January) and meanwhile I'd love ideas on people to give it to. (Feel free to nominate recipients if you know they can have it!)

So I'll just have to design something for you, and/or go through my stash. You can't have alliums or brassicae (unlikely in candy) or crunchy or sticky things, and you don't love fruit, but what about flavored chocolate? Such as the rainbow chocolate fudge?
