The Affordable care Act was upheld, and Same Sex Marriage is now legal throughout the United States. Not writing an essay today, just making a delighted note in my journal.

Yeah, we have a lot of work to do, and I, unlike some people, are not going to dismiss those causes in the name of celebrating. But for a moment at least I have hope that thing can be changed. These are two legitimate victories and they give me hope for more.

Absolutely- in a sense, marriage equality is just the icing on the cake here- this is full human rights so it's huge- believe me, I KNOW how huge. :o)

So celebrate lots but then go after more.
