A Haze of Fire (A story idea, DC Comics)

All things have their times, including story ideas. I can no longer write the story whose idea I detail below; it's been superceded, both by glossing' superb "Some Contradictions Found in the Afterlife" and by the canon events that sparked it. I waited to write this story because I wasn't good enough yet to write it, and now it won't be written. So I'll put the idea here, and one day another story may grow from it.
