Bonsai and Skyscrapers
Mar. 12th, 2007 11:19 amSo, I recieved a Travel Diary from an elementary school class in the St. Louis suburns. I don't remember who I got it from, but it's still amusing; basicaly, one sends the class a postcard when one recieves the book, then writes a photoessay about where one lives and pastes it into the travel journal. I should have my photoessay done in about a week, at which point I'll be ready to send the book on to another person, if anyone would like to volunteer.
Thinking about how to describe Boston to an elementary school class led me to looking up various things about the city I live in, and which I should see more of. I found out that one of the best collections of bonsai in the United States is here, the Larz Anderson Collection at the Arnold Arboretum. *makes a note to make plans*
