In P's Honor

P is my roommate
tigerbright's aunt. She died on Monday, and as Tigerlily notes, "[my aunt] did not have access to affordable healthcare (the ACA, aka Obamacare went into effect only about a month before she was eligible for Medicare anyway). I think that if she'd gone to a doctor in August, instead of November, we might still have her around. Between not wanting to ask people to help her pay the doctor and not wanting to ask for help getting to the doctor, and not thinking it was serious... you see where this is going?"
So, especially in honor of her aunt, she asks:
"If there's a way for you to volunteer to help people get through the ACA
website (or state exchanges) and get their insurance more easily and efficiently, that would be a really wonderful thing.
If you live in a remote area and can help people get to the doctor when they are unable to drive themselves to the doctor? That, too, would be a mitzvah."
