http://etcsl.orinst.ox.ac.uk <-- the Electronic Corpus of Sumerian Literature. How cool is that, that Sumerian literature has gone from clay tablets to electronic records?

http://plentyofbabies.tumblr.com/ and http://wearethe15percent.com are two happy making sites, one of babies and the other of interracial relationships.

My friend [livejournal.com profile] redaxe has a a post of adjunct videos for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary

And now, three resources:
Movietriggers.com is a (very new) database of triggers in new and old movies,
http://transoralhistory.com is the Trans Oral History Project

"The Deaf World Library and Museum would be the first digital resource to offer access to relevant historical materials through a single online portal."

What are some webpages you really enjoy? (Besides LJ, of course.)

It's not going to change the world, and it's not particularly dramatic or educational, but I am utterly in love with Tastespotting.

Gorgeous pictures of tasty food, and almost every recipe I've tried from there has been a success. It's now my go-to browsing spot whenever I feel like finding something new to make...

I so hear you. Sometimes when I want to think about the beauty and artistry of food (and I've eaten recently) I look at Tastespotting.

It's totally cool!!

I check this website every time the ground shakes (not *that* often, thank goodness):

This is a very happy-making place for me:

And I just love the sound of this site!

... but when I click the Deaf World Lib&Mus link in Firefox (25.0.1, MacOS X 10.7.5), it opens not the page, but a "share" dropdown that I've never seen before. The other links behave normally.

I just got to it by trimming the URL of everything after the first ... modifier, I guess (sid=story ID?):
http://www.ksl.com/?sid=27419499
Did you try the URL before posting it? The way it works looks like the sort of thing you're supposed to click on rather than paste.

Very interesting, thanks! And NOW I want to reblog this post, because it has so many interesting links, if I may. (And even before that I'm going to take the liberty of PMing the link to someone who I'm pretty sure will be interested in many of them.)

Oh, very cool. I've thought that someone should make a trigger reference site.
