Two quick things on art

Attention artists: would you like to help an abortion clinic which was vandalized?

Meanwhile, I could use an idea for a paper art project. I am in possession of a book which is out of date in terms of information, very old, and falling apart. But, being me, I can't just toss a book ignominiously into the trash. Any ideas? Or any paper crafters who might want it?

I've played around some with making altered books, and I have the leftover resources from my experimentation. The Minuteman Library System has good resource books on the subject, so if you take some out and want to try, let me know - I can lend you crafty supplies... :)

I remember the time in college that I picked up an outdated copy of some Congressional Directory being dumped at an office, just so I could cut out pages to hide illegal fireworks in it. That was fun.

It's a small slender volume titled "A Miniature History of European Art", full of text and B&W illustrations.
