First of all, thank you for all the cabbage&pudding suggestions! Returning to my computer to find my inbox full of good and cheerful advice was really nifty. :)
Secondly, I was out today seeing Brave with
spinrabbit and family *wave*, which I really liked. Rather than natter about my opinions I'll just link to The MarySue's review with which I thoroughly agree. (Also, the short preceding it, LaLuna, is utterly adorable and hit me right in my thing for light imagery.)
While I'm linking to excellent essays, here is
sovay's tribute to Alan Turing, which I meant to post on his recent centennial.
One of these days I'll write a long public entry full of my own words, but I'm glad that there are so many good things out there to signal boost. :)
