I might be fated to never see TMBG perform. When I was in college they came to Harvard to perform, and all my friends went and pronounced it awesome, but I was too sick to go. Now I have tickets with bercilakslady, who is awesome to see things with, but I... am too sick to go.

This being a grownup thing sometimes sucks. I can't help thinking that if I'd called out Thursday and Friday I'd have the strength to go to tonight's concert... but that would have been irresponsible.

I know just how you feel. I had corporate VIP tickets to see Steely Dan at Chastain Park a few years ago, and game down sick the day of the concert and couldn't go. I was *so* completely miserable to miss it, because I'd been looking forward to it for a month!
