"Is She a Baby or a Cat?"

Whenever I have something to eat Eva crawls over and demands a share. Feeding her by hand is even more fun than it's painful; the very manner in which she opens her mouth is bossily adorable. Hilariously, when the food is gone she often crawls away; she has definetely been taking notes from the cat. Hence the title of the entry.

At work I keep telling stories about Joshua and Eva, and participating in the Parents of Small Children discussions. I wonder what pictures the people who only kinda sorta know me have of my life.

Erin, who is eighteen months old, still does that food begging thing. She will point at whatever I have and open her mouth, while nodding her head with great authority.

Hee! Don't you love that "Ooh, that looks good, gimme some!" look in the eyes? My courtesy niece, Miri, is 3 and still does it, but she's a bit wilder and bossier... and shrieks the word or appropriate sentence now. "OOOH! AUNTIE TEESIE! WANNA COOKIE!" ;-)
