If I wrote actual proper Hallowe'en stories that are related to the holiday, I might have tried to write something like this, rituals of fire and darkness and what place religion holds in the Mirrorverse, but I honestly don't think it would have come out as fittingly, as darkly, and as gorgeously as Echo's "Hallowed Ground". To say nothing of her pitch-perfect Mirror!Jim and Mirror!cisfemale!McCoy. You might not believe it by the one I write, but I love Mirror!McCoys who are acclimated to their wicked world, and this lady is beautifully devious and yet utterly Dr. McCoy through and through.
So, I had to make a note here. *delights in this*
