I literally facepalmed (at myself, at myself). I, uh, wrote that. It's titled "Those Who Favor Fire" and it's wrenching and... didn't end well for the third person (not that he deserved it to). I just... my mirror!Kirk is one of my more jealous characters (and what does that say about my conceptions of monogamy and jealousy, I wonder?)
I want Leah to have a good day sometime too. Maybe I'll write about the time Kirk took her and Joanna on shore leave and showed them something gorgeous and was so solicitous and gentle that Leah found herself smiling. BUT ANYWAY. I have a drabble to come up with.
