*curtseys delightedly* Thank you, a *lot*. Because, yeah, I wrote this because the idea was hot, but I really wanted to evoke a Cadet Pike, brave and understated and devoted, who could grow up into Captain Pike of Awesominity. So I'm especially delighted to hear I managed to do that.
