You took that line and ran with it in an entirely different way.
I'm not normally all that into slash, at first not reading it at all but now corrupted I read some. I found this and have to say that it was an excellent piece and hardly feels like slash at all. More like a Gen-fic but just that the baddy takes his jolly's in a sexual way rather than by merely inflicting pain.
The curious side of me would love to see the beginning of this, how Edgerton took Don and the interaction during that part but perhaps that is best left to the readers imagination. I would read if you decided to write one, however.
Of course, it also helps that you have an evil!Edgerton.
So well done, even it it wasn't what you had originally intended.
