I'm catching up on NUMB3RS this weekend, since due to Life Issues I hadn't gotten to watch it since Animal Rites. I wish I could watch it in real time and join the conversations (well, maybe, maybe not, since I have some different opinions than many of my fellow fans -- see below) but I'm glad I get this show at all, since I very much enjoy it.
Tonight I watched The Fifth Man and Disturbed. I watched TFM unspoiled, and figured out the plot as it was happening, which makes me absurdly proud of myself -- I'm really not good with mysteries, which is part of why constructing one (in my long-awaited Minoan Numb3rs AU) is taking me so long. But I digress. I admit, I wasn't as alarmed about Don as I should've been, because he could reasonably be expected to have Headlining Cast Member Immunity, but I kind of freaked out over Decoy Charlie, to my roommates' great amusement. (I also found Alan's... somewhat harshness towards Charlie to be really instructive, character-wise. I'm going to be thinking about that for awhile.)
I wonder if Don was reading The Jew in the Lotus while he recovered. He seemed awfully Zen about it all.
Disturbed was pretty awesome, Charlie's Office Full of Crazy and conspiracy nuts bonding and so on. And I think...
...brace yourselves for a kinda contrary fandom opinion...
If I were going to slash Charlie with any Fedcakebesides Don I think it would be with David. Now, I know Colby/Charlie is the fandom favorite, and I adore this fandom for its lack of shipwars (maybe they're happening elsewhere, maybe they happened before I got here, I'm just glad I've never experienced them) and I will be damned before I manage to spark one now. So please, nothing I'm about to say should be taken as any opening shot in any shipwar (can you tell I still bear scars from previous fandoms?). But, man. That hug at the end of TFM. The David-vision in Disturbed, and David's cautious but unwavering faith in Charlie... all the way back to High Exposure and David's little squeeze of Charlie's shoulders. I can *see* them together.

rounds_of_kink. This is my first outing there, and I'm planning to treat it like a Porn Battle and to write a carefully chosen set of six short pornbombs, but... I'm eyeing that prompt.
Maybe I could write eight? (I don't like the number 7. I'm superstitious.)
Maybe I'm a madwoman, since I never managed to write even one a week formmom. But I digress.
And I think I've wound down. Teo down, two to go, as I assiduously avoid spoilers for the last two eppesodes of the season. Now I just have to stop buzzing with adrenaline and get to sleep tonight!
