Dear Yuletide Santa

My notes on my requests were kind of long (and all suggestions! No requirements! You're writing a story for me, I love you already!), so here I'll talk more generally about my tastes.
I love, among other things:
Good grief, I went on too long. The above is not a shopping list, mind you, but an incomplete list of things I like.
Most importantly, please, please enjoy yourself. Yuletide is meant to be fun for everyone, to increase joy. If your story radiates the joy of writing, I know I'll love it. Thank you already for it!
I love, among other things:
- Explorations of setting. In most of my fandoms, the setting is as important to me as, if not more important than, the characters. If you want to write an OC or two, go for it! I love OCs.
- Explorations of thought processes. When I read, and when I write, I'm always curious about what the characters are thinking.
- Cultural interactions, if possible. I'm from a multicultural city, so I grew up with and am fond of cross-cultural sharing.
- Oh, and cities. Where applicable, of course.
- Stories with adult ratings, including dark subject matter. If you've cast an eye across my stories, you'll have noticed I write het, slash, femslash, threesomes, deathfic, non-con, incest... I like reading all of these, too.
- Stories with general audience ratings. I also read and write gen, cheerful stories, fluffy stories, etc. Follow your plotbunny where it leads, and I'll be happy at the journey you and it take me on.
- Stories with het and slash mingled. Because.
- Female characters. I am not a person who reflexively dislikes female characters; in fact, I actively seek out fandoms rich in them.
- Male characters, characters of other, in-between, and indeterminate gender, and so on. In case you were wondering. *grin*
- Light imagery. Because.
