browngirlAt the prevous end of this year I asked for people to give me ficlet prompts. For various reasons I'm not going to be able to write the ficlets that should go with them, so I thought I'd point them out to anyone looking for plotbunnies. DCU mostly but not exclusively; LOTR, Bujold, NUMB3RS, Doctor Who and so on as well.

Minoans and Myceneaeans: Flavors of Their Time, edited by Yannis Tzedakis and Holley Martlew
Name a movie you own on DVD/VHS/whatever that no one else on your friends list might have.
The Pillow Book, directed by Peter Greenaway (thanks to the generosity ofdr_glam)
Name a place that you have visited that no one else on your friends list might have.
Fern Gully, Saint Ann's Parish, Jamaica. But I might be wrong about that.
Name a piece of technology or any sort of tool you own that you think no one else on your friends list might have.
My cake pan collection is probably unique in its emphasis on tiny cake pans relative to my nonprofessional status. (And this after I lost a box of them!) I trust I'm not the only one with a stick blender, right?
