I've been following the author's Tumblr for awhile. His subjects are awesome, overlooked women from history, legend, and myth: his art style is sweet and wonderful and full of surprising details; and his research is thorough and his catchment truly global.
So I've bought a copy, and I thought I'd post a note here about this lovely book for my fellow history nerds, parents of children who should read about awesome women, librarians and other knowledge curators, and anyone else who'll enjoy this nifty book!
