I really love the phrase "you're doing the Lord's work". I love its implication of "you are unilaterally improving the world by doing this thing" and "if there is/are one or more intelligences at the center of the Universe It/They/Whatnot absolutely approves of your actions". And I love applying it with irony but not sarcasm, such as to astonishingly awesome porny fan works.

But, it's a little American-Chrsitian. I feel like I'm presenting false advertising as to my current memberships and allegiances.

So, are there any short pithy alternatives?
