A note and two ideas

I am completely failing at writing actual fic, but I thought I'd toss these ideas out.

For my fellow Jim/Bones fans: check ou this Tumblr gifset and commentary. (I often complain about Tumblr but this kind of thing, a gifset with commentary that underscores a tiny yet important point, is why I still rummage it.)

For my fellow Trek fans: a cute meme might be to rec or self-rec one story that we wrote after STXI that would be worth reading after STID. If I did this I think I'd rec a Chekov/Sulu story to make up for [you know what if you saw the movie]. ETA fiercynn took my suggestion and made a bunch more recs as well!

For everyone: I enjoy reading TV Tropes trope lists for works far, far too much. It would be fun to do such an analysis on a fanfic, except that searching TV Tropes is like diving into a black hole.

Yarnbombing Opportunity

There's a bare tree by Wellington Station that could really use to be festooned with bright little knitted things. I wish I had the courage (and/or the money to spare for potential fines) to organize a yarnbombing for it.
