The Christian and The Pagans

So, there's this show called Vikings. From what I can see in fandom, it features the closest-to-canon threesome since White Collar, plus lots of Christianity vs Paganism, chastity vs sex angst. (I could trot out some of the Bible verses I spent my first decade and a half memorizing!) Some of the porn on AO3 is splendiferous.

Has anyone reading this watched it? Is there aught I should know?
