I just took a brief LJ break and found something I had to signalboost: tresa_cho's Open Letter To Fandom concerning Uhura. She wrote it as part of womenlovefest, and I figured I'd also put these links to the Trek ladies featured there: Gaila, Nyota Uhura, Winona Kirk, T'Pring, Ezri Dax, and Kathryn Janeway .
