Midnight Mirrorverse Marvelousness

I LOVE FANDOM. So much of my recent joy is because of fannish things, and thus ultimately fannish people. It's the middle of the night where I am, but I'm too excited to wait for morning to write this!

asimaiyat called for ficlet prompts, and I asked for Mirror Hikari Sulu (genderswapped Sulu) and Pavel Chekov. She wrote for me "oh your gaze is dangerous, and you fill your space so sweet" about Hikari cleaning her blades while Pavel watches.

And then! AND THEN! Remember the awesome picture of Mirror!Leah kittyjimjams drew for me? echoinautumn commissioned reddqueen (an excellent artist, who is currently taking commissions) to draw Mirror!Kirk/Mirror!Leah for me. I am absolutely astounded. His hand! Her eyebrows! The lines and angles of their postures! EEEE! (There are other glories on that page, too -- Batkids being sorted into Hogwarts houses, Star Trek crew as assorted-color Lanterns, Billy and Teddy schmoop and smooching!)

I have had a day full of ups and downs, and these were definitely two major ups.
