So, I haven't posted fiction in awhile, for which I apologize. I'm currently working on some longish (for me) complicated stories that will need time and work (and am also kind of busy otherwise), but I do intend to resume posting stories in the not too distant future (though probably not next Sunday, AD).
Meanwhile, here are some good things I've run across:
Two commentfic fests for the Three Weeks for Dreamwidth effort: polyfic (as in, relationships of more than two people) and transfic (as in, fiction about transgender and intergender people).
For inspiration while you're writing: 5 Unknown Schmucks Who Turned Into Superheroes In The Clutch. Includes a librarian, because librarians are superheroes to begin with.
And for inspiration while you live (you know that statement someone awesome said about how stories tell us how to live? This brought that to mind): from the above-linked transficathon, written by Gloss for Torches' birthday, Might spit like a girl but I hit like a guy, DC Comics, Jason Todd/Bruce Wayne, adult.
Last but certainly not least: "Livejournal are causing privacy and security risks with their new revenue collection scheme," as
vassilissa sensibly put it. The linked post includes information on how to use the Admin console to opt out of this latest foolishness.
