The Supreme Court Case Meme
Oct. 1st, 2008 11:15 amWhich I got from
dakiwiboid:
The Rules: Post info about ONE Supreme Court decision, modern or historic to your lj. (Any decision, as long as it's not Roe v. Wade.) For those who see this on your f-list, take the meme to your OWN lj to spread the fun.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, I'm going to post about Loving vs Virginia (1967), which has the distinction, among others, of a very appropriate name. The Supreme Court's decision on this case ended race-based restrictions on marriage in the United States; a good decision for justice, and for love.
