NESFA Hymnal Sing in the Sky
May. 11th, 2008 11:37 amI trust (and certainly hope) that this post won't come as a shock to anyone who reads it.
Lois Mangan died yesterday of complications of Parkinson's Disease. Her husband
annonynous's post to
filk is here, and
thnidu wrote the most appropriate memorial, a nifty song about Lois.
I was thinking of what I could possibly write about this warm and wonderful woman, and then I saw
autographedcat's comment that "Lois Mangan is pushing her way to the front of the Celestial choir and handing out NESFA hymnals to the heavenly host." Yeah, I couldn't've said it better. She is, she definetely is.
Thank you, Lois, for having been you. We will miss you, and we are surely infinitely blessed to have known you.
