I have voted
Feb. 6th, 2008 08:15 amWith Tigerlily's help (our polling place is a little off the T-accessible track) I have discharged one of my civic duties, exercised one of my rights as a citizen, enjoyed a privilege two different movements fought for me to have.
And now, I think I'm going to ignore politics until it stops making me feel nauseated or November 1 comes around, whichever is first. I can't deal anymore; the game of thrones is utterly nervewracking to me, and I'm currently oversaturated with it. I didn't have to vote while holding my nose, but I still wonder if I made the right choice.
(I can't believe Romney won MA, though. Did people forget? Or did everyone who's still mad they didn't get to vote to strip fellow citizens of a right come out in force for him? Oy.)
