Skies and Disciples
Nov. 27th, 2007 08:56 amThis morning was so beautiful when I got up, a single star above the glowing horizon, the sky unclouded blue, the air warm as a bath. Of course, by now a heavy gray blanket has fallen over the treetops, but it's still warm for the next few hours, I hope. (I had a much longer and more lyrical description planned to inflict on my journal, but I got interrupted.)
And now for something completely different. This is a poem I've been meaning to have in my journal for awhile, because. ( The Disciple, by Rudyard Kipling )
