There's an article in the "Escapes" section of today's New York Times, titled "Welcome, Interstate Satyrs", about not-for-profit conventions such as Worldcon. It was written about/at Mid-South Con in Memphis.

Not much in evidence/Retrospective Meme

I just wanted to say that I'm not going to be around much for most of May; I work at a high school, so this is a very busy month. I hope to return with several stories to post in June.
