So.

My household (me, [livejournal.com profile] jadasc, [livejournal.com profile] tigerbright, and [livejournal.com profile] teddywolf) are having a Winter Holiday Party on January 3rd, 2004, from 4 PM to midnight. We will celebrate any and all winter holidays people care to celebrate that don't involve messy sacrifices or leaving the house; one holiday we will certainly be celebrating is my birthday, January 2 (presents not required).

Directions are available by email. The house isn't childproofed, but a little quiet space can be provided during the party. Crash space will not be able to be provided, and last (but certainly not least) we have a cat.

So, if you have any questions, need directions, and/or want to RSVP,
please email me at my LJ email address.

[livejournal.com profile] xiphias taught me to always give money to street musicians/T musicians, even if only a few pennies.

I had a bad day today until I reached WD's house, I won't go into details; suffice it to say that I stood on the platform at Park Street with throbbing feet, hating almost all living things and many inanimate objects as well, when I heard music. I listened more closely and heard two musicians down the platform, a plump girl with a guitar and a skinny guy with a bass, performing "Tangled Up in Blue".

I love that song.

I felt so much better I nearly wept. I went down the platform and dropped a note into their coffee can that said, "I was having a craptastic day till I heard you play 'Tangled Up in Blue'. Thank you" along with the $5 I would have used to pay my taxi Had It Ever Shown Up This Morning. I hope I made their day, too.
