A Happy Moment.
Jan. 9th, 2003 08:07 amSo, there's this kid who always amuses me. I like them all, but he's particularly a favorite. His mom called in that he'd be late and excused him; then he came in late and signed in.
Then he Realized something, with a dramatic full-body reaction of course (I like teenagers because I still haven't outgrown my melodrama, after all), and said, "I don't even need this! I'm not late because I don't have a first period class!"
He was *so* happy. Hee. :) I gave him the late slip and told him he could tear it up, which he did with glee. I didn't let him throw it in the air, though. ;)
