(When we went to see The Last King of Scotland, there was literally a moment towards the end when I thought I was going to faint, and the theater was also too crowded to stumble to do the bathroom easily, so I sat there and was just utterly overwhelmed for a bit, and was at the same time so irritated because my reaction to events were so visceral, and yet the ending still had the black-man-sacrifices-himself-for-the-white-man-trope and I was FURIOUS.)
