Writer's Block: Collect 'em all

I collect images of and books about the Minoans (the civilization of Bronze Age Crete) because they are my favorite ancient civilization (even if I haven't talked as much about them in recent years). I love their grace and sunniness and mystery, their particular personality that's like no other culture I've ever seen and yet obviously a parent of Ancient Greece.
I would collect actual Minoan art (only of guaranteed provenance! No looting!) were I, you know, rich, but I do have a few pieces of art inspired by them, including a beautiful tiny Minoan ship model built for me by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
