Yesterday In Food and Wine

My roommates dispatched me to collect the weekly fish share from a friendly man with a truck. Mr. Red Ted (who kindly agreed to drive me) thought the operation looked skeevy at first, but the fish was fresh and brighteyed as ever, and the friendly fisherman didn't question my announcement that I was there on behalf of my household, and did give me a lovely recipe for roasted fish.
So, I cut the fish in half, cut slits in the tail, and smeared it with olive oil-roasted garlic-lemon zest-salt and pepper paste. I added lemon juice and more oil to the leftover paste and tossed cauliflower florets in it, roasted the lot at 450 for 25 minutes, and boiled a little pasta to go with.
It made for a very good dinner, which Mr. Red Ted really liked (I HAVE to do that cauliflower again, and/or try that recipe on broccoli) though I'm wasting my morning off being hungover because I drank the whole bottle of cheap pink wine. *facepalm*
