A Compliment and a Resolution

browngirlI would have written this last night but the LJ outage coincided with the time I had available for LJ, so. So I spent yesterday afternoon with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dr_glam, being media fannish and hanging out. In addition to a wonderful afternoon of Chinese food and rediscovering how much I love Avatar:The Last Airbender, she gave me a really wonderful compliment: she says that I'm really pleasant company. *beams* I shall have to keep working on living up to that.
I think my resolution this coming year should be to spend more time with nifty people. This past year's was to speak up when people said annoying things, and I give myself at least a B- on it; following it was useful and liberating and definetely improved my life this year, and the times when I didn't follow it still bother me. So. Here's to resolutions. *makes a note*
