I've been hooked on fractals for over twenty years -- I actually have a copy of Mandelbrot's "The Fractal Geometry of Nature" on my shelf, and remember typing in a BASIC-language program to generate the Mandelbrot set on my Atari 800. I had to leave it running all night to get a full-screen image. Those were the days *sniffle*
